I usually buy my domain names with netfirms. In this post, you will learn the process of registering domain name with Netfirms. First of all, Visit Netfirms official Website and see on right side bar. You will get an option similar to the following screenshot.
Enter your domain name in box and select the domain name extension from the drop down as shown in the above screenshot and click on search button. Once you clicked on search button, it will take you to next page where it will show you the availability of your domain name. If it’s not available, retry for another domain name from that page. Once your domain name is available for registration, go to the bottom of the page and you will find an option similar as shown in the following screenshot.
If you are new customer, select the first radio button or if you are an existing customer then select the second radio button and click on continue button. Now follow their steps to buy your domain name. At checkout page you will need to fill your personal details and mode of payment. You can pay via Credit card or using your paypal account.
Note: They will also try to recommend you to buy hosting from them. If you want hosting from them then you can add those options in your cart otherwise don’t select any other options.
I usually buy domain names from one place i.e. netfirms and hosting from hostgator (Recommended).
